Well, here are a few shots before Halloween. Ayelan, my little naked chef, served me up some lunch this day, she even emptied out a puzzle so she could have a tray :)
... later that day was dress up time (this is a daily thing, i just happen to take pictures this time). the girls dress Easton up, he loves it... and he got lucky this day with it being somewhat manly.
i cant remember if I've mentioned my bean tub, we don't get it out too often but when we do its entertaining for hours, its like a indoor winter sandbox
Oreo's... and snot
The week of Halloween we had SEVEN Halloween parties... so i just let the kids pick whatever outfit they wanted from our dress up clothes for most of them. This day Auburn wanted to be a bride for her gymnastics party and she actually let me take some pictures of her (for later use), something she usually balks at.
...the most natural photo of them all
Auburn's party at Mrs Angie's, Auburn is the pink fairy on the left (her actual costume)
Ayelan's party at Mrs. Carols, in her actual costume as a cowgirl
Halloween night. Easton was a football player (this was chosen because he loves to wear helmets and so i thought that would be a no fuss costume... and it was, he loved it)
Here in Childress the downtown (two streets of downtown) merchants all set up in front of their shops and hand out candy, so everyone (as in the whole freaking town) walks along trick-or-treating, but its fun because you get to see everyone's costumes. The two large churches down town also each have fun little carnival stuff for the kids. My mom got drug around with us this year :)
the kids and Grand Meme, Dee's mom
we all had a fun and crazy Halloween. i didn't post pictures of the kids in all the different costumes but we had a superhero, football player, bride, cat, fairy, princess Aurora, other princess and cowgirl. remember to eat lots of candy! ... its good job insurance for us :)
