"Auburn, what made a nest in your hair last night?"
"huh?"
"oh a camera! CHEESE!"
...and back to eating
{sigh}
so i thought it would be a great idea to get the kids a slip'n'slide this summer. i spend forever blowing up the pool part and getting it all set up and THEN notice that the grass is so dead and crunchy it kills their feet to walking in it much less run. and it hurts their tummy to slide across it on the mat. so much for that idea, they just sat in the pool, until the wind started blowing and blew all the dead grass in their face and water. great day.
On May 30 we had Auburn's 3rd birthday party. It was a Snow White Party, because this little girl is obsessed with Snow White. Mom and I did face painting.
the face painting station. the party was supposed to be in the park but it was so hot and windy we moved it to my brother's restaurant.
There was a big screen were we played the "Snow White" movie, so that's what Easton is so obsessed with.
Auburn: smiling with all her teeth
Ayelan: smiling with a missing tooth! she lost her first tooth a few weeks ago, surprising us all, and now she's lost another!
Easton was so calm i thought i might get a good picture of him, i thought wrong
Mr. Suave

We had my niece, Ashlynn come stay in Childress (technically with my mom) for a few weeks so the girls got to enjoy lots of sleepovers, it was a sad day yesterday when she left to go back to Houston.
playing in the water table
Auburn was so tired she fell asleep on Ayelan (sitting up), then Ayelan fell over.
