Circus, Eggs and kids everywhere

I have a lot of photos from this angle because i'm sitting on a stool and behind me in this photo is my computer, so every now and then i turn around to the sound of "mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, hey mommy, mommy" (you get the point) and find things like this and i take their picture.

this is what happens when auburn dresses herself

So i thought Easton needed some 1 year photos, he didn't agree. this was the shot i wanted so bad and i could not bribe him enough to smile for a fraction of a second, all he wanted was to get up and leave.

i got one OKAY photo for all my (and eric, behind me) efforts

so we tried again on a good cloudy day and i got 0 smiley photos and one (below) out of focus serious one. oh well.

Mathew and Jessica came to Childress for a few days so all the little cousins could hang out, they had a blast

Ayelan, Auburn and Claire (Claire is 5 months older than Auburn)

Easton and Finn ( Finn is 2 months younger than Easton)

if you have never given your children scissors (not sharp ones of course) and sat them out in your yard to cut weeds, you should try it. it was their idea and it entertained them for a long time while we did yard work.

they finished our yard so we sent them over to the neighbors :)

a  picnic, hick style

Auburn was playing with her princesses and had wedged herself in between her bed and her rail (which is now gone, hallelujah) and was stuck

The circus came to Childress, and it was actually really good! i have such a good since of timing, hence the photo below.

the girls and their friends

Auburn and Berkley were in awe the whole time

i mean, really?  at one point this was stew.

does this remind anyone else of Alice in Wonderland? he was just playing away in there...

untill he couldn't get out... then it wasn't cool, and his mom was too busy snapping pictures to help :)

This was a really random day, we went to a local store to look at their baby chick's and duck's (they want you to buy them as Easter presents, over my dead body) anyway, we looked at them.

and got pictures with the Easter Bunny...

who had to take her bunny hat off so my nearly 5 year-old would go near her.

Then we went to McDonald's because Ronald McDonald was in town! yay!

to give Ronald credit, he did keep the kids attention for 45 minutes, i wanted to hit him with a bat a couple of times, but the kids loved him :)

Then we were off to the hunts! the sweet kids of our 4-H (and their parents) put on a great easter egg hunt with all kinds of prizes they give away. A BIG thank you to any 4-H'ers reading, y'all do a great job!
Ayelan had a T-ball game right after, i'm posting those exciting (that is my extreme sarcasm) pictures on another post.

Easton got in a fight with an ice cream sandwich.
this is usually the face he makes right before he charges for you with a bat or sword in hand, but i got it just for snapping a photo

Ayelan's preschool easter egg hunt, she's third from the end in green

an egg hunt at Mrs. Sue's house

note Easton's curls in this photo, i was growing his hair out because it would curl up, but i just couldn't take it anymore and chopped it all off the next day. the boy's hair grow so fast, it was his 7th hair cut.

here's the new do, and the kids getting to dig in their easter baskets from mom and dad

the poor girls hair got cut by their mother as well, i was a little scissor happy, ayelan's bangs are still short.

and finally, Easter Pictures
