too much to ask

So apparently its just too much for me to ask for a smiley Christmas card picture, I've posted several attempts, but thanks to a certain little girl (who has embraced the terrible twos with open arms) it just wasn't happening. oh well :)

[Disclaimer, i cut the tip of my right index finger off, its fine now and healing great, but its making typing difficult and i'm not going to correct all the typos] :)

so we tried again...

and dont think we haven't spanked her, bribed her, anything we can think of...

but to her credit she did start throwing up right after this photo, and continued to for the next 5 days, made us feel a little bad about that spanking :)

just showing off

and Ayelan, my little one that will always smile and do what i ask, where did i go wrong with Auburn?

this was the first time i rolled their hair in curlers for the night and they wanted their picture taken (yes, when its her idea to take a picture she's all smiles).  Auburn's lasted about ten minutes, but Ayelan's turns out so cute.

Mrs. Angie's Christmas Party

Auburn, actually being patient

a book swap

Nora and Ayelan ended up just swapping each others books

Ayelan's Gymnastics recital, she did so good and was so proud of herself

i have a million photos like this but i cant resist.

Easton and Caelyn (his cousin) at Christmas

Mimi and the girls, can these three squint a little? :)

Christmas Eve, Easton decided it would be a good idea to dump out a two gallon bucket of water all over the floor and himself, so he got to wear these at Mimi's house, he didn't care, he comfortable in is masculinity

this was a really cute smile when it started out, but i guess she had to hold it too long and it became a snarl

cloths are dry and we were back to business, Easton got put in a highchair so he'd stay out of trouble

another failed attempt at cuteness, except she recruited Easton to join her...

little traitor.

so cute, i just want to kiss both of them! :)

Ayelan and Ashlynn (her cousin)

LuLu and the middle grandkids

Brant's got to keep a grip on his masculinity too in this group

relaxing with Papa

playing with aunt Jes and Claire (their cousin).

Finn (his cousin) and Easton

Only posting three of these messy face pictures is real restraint! this is the remains of a blueberry muffin.

she's so goofy, she's more like eric in that respect

this was actually not posed :) they do love each other, most of the time

we have princesses drop by the house all the time, were special like that

she was soooooo pleased with herself :)

thats all for now!!

Holy cow, you had me laughing the whole post! Auburn and Landry must be cut from the same cloth! I'm not sure if I'm excited for them to be friends or nervous.

You are too funny. All the pictures are so cute & sweet! I must say, though - Eric is looking a little Rico Suave in the one of you, him & E on the couch :) My boys are gonna be at Mom & Dad's for a few days next week and then Kel & I will be there on the weekend. I'm sure the boys will be hitting you up for some play time while we're around :)
